Create a New MySQL Endpoint

To create a new endpoint in the application, for exporting data to a MySQL database, do the following:

1. In the Account Settings page, select the ​Endpoints tab, and then select the ​MySQL Endpoints tab.

2. Click ​the Add a new MySQL endpoint button​​. The Add a new MySQL endpoint window opens.

3. In the Add a new MySQL endpoint window, enter the details of the new MySQL endpoint.
   NOTE: Use your MySQL ​schema_name​ in the ​Database name​​ field when adding / editing a MySQL endpoint.
   NOTE: Special characters are not supported in passwords.

4. If the server is an AWS server, you need to download the certificate and populate the field SSL ca.

After creating the certificate, populate the SSL ca field, in order to connect to your MySQL server.

5. Click ​Save​​.

An integrity test of the endpoint is triggered automatically. 
A success message is displayed after the test.
The new MySQL endpoint appears in the list of endpoints.

Deleting an existing MySQL Endpoint

To delete an existing MySQL endpoint in the application, do the following:

1. In the Account Settings page, select the ​Endpoints tab, and then select the ​MySQL​​ Endpoints tab.

2. In the row of the endpoint that you wish to delete, click on the Delete icon. 
3. A message box appears, prompting you to confirm that you wish to delete the endpoint.

4. Click OK to confirm the deletion (or Cancel to cancel the deletion).
5. If you confirm the deletion, the endpoint is deleted, and disappears from the list of MySQL endpoints.
