How to Grant Access to the Archive Widget in Experience Cloud

    For Experience Cloud users to see the widget, they need to be assigned the correct permission set.

    Clone and save the ​Archive View Archived Records​ permission set. After cloning, remove the ​View All ​​permission since Archive does not adhere to the Salesforce Data Security Model. Finally, configure the setting to ​Public Read Only​​.

    1. Navigate to Setup and search for Permission Sets.
    2. Clone and save the ​Archive View Archived Records​ permission set.
    3. From the ​Permission Set Overview​​, click ​Object Settings.​​

     

     

    1. ​Select ​​Archive​​ ​Configurations​​​
      Under Object Permissions, clear the ​View All​​ checkbox.

     

    1. Navigate to ​Sharing Settings and click ​Edit​​.
      The screen opens on ​Organization-Wide Sharing Defaults Edit.​
    2. Scroll down to Archive Configuration.​​
      Change the ​Default Internal Access ​​and the ​Default External Access​ to setting to​ Public Read Only​​
    3. Select ​Policy​​.
      Change the ​Default Internal Access​ and the​ Default External Access ​​to setting to ​Public Read Only​​
