    About Scheduled Exports

    In the Schedule Exports menu, you can schedule an export of your backup to your existing endpoints.

    ​When the Scheduled Export runs, it will export your last successful backup (either full or synthetic), and you can see the export in the Jobs tab under Scheduled backup export.

    NOTE: Only an Admin or a Master Admin can create/edit/delete a scheduled export.

    Creating a new Scheduled Export for a Data Backup

    NOTE: You can create up to 2 scheduled exports per service. When you reach the limit, the ​New Scheduled Export​​ button is disabled (appears gray), as seen below:

     

    To create a new instance of Scheduled Export, do the following: 

    1. From the application main page, select the service that you want to create a new scheduled export for.

    1. The Scheduled Exports page appears. Click ​New Scheduled Export.

    1. The New Scheduled Export window opens.

     

    1. In the Name field, enter a scheduling name.

    2. In the Export to drop-down list, select either S3 Bucket, SQL, Azure Blob or Snowflake.

    3. In the Select Endpoint drop-down list, select the destination endpoint.
      A Ready message appears: 

    4. Define the Frequency, from either of the following options:

    • Weekly​​: Select the day of the week, how often per weeks, and the hour.

    • Daily​​: Select the hour.

    NOTE: The time zone is set according to your default profile settings.
    1. In Export Objects, choose whether to export All or Specific objects.

    2. If you chose Specific objects, then select the desired objects from the list below. 

    3. If applicable, select whether to include attachments.

    NOTE: The option to include attachments is only visible when you select to export to your S3 Bucket, Azure Blob or Snowflake.
    1. Click Save, to complete defining the new scheduled export instance. 

     

    Editing or Deleting an Existing Scheduled Export

    To edit an existing instance of scheduled export, do the following:

    1. In the Scheduled Exports page, right-click on the scheduled export that you want to edit.
    2. A popup menu appears, with 2 options (Edit or Delete).  

    1. If you choose Delete, a confirmation message appears, prompting you to confirm that you want to delete the scheduled export instance.
    2. If you choose Edit, the Edit Scheduled Export window appears. It is identical to the Create Scheduled Export window (see above).
    3. Follow the instructions in the Create Scheduled Export section, above.
    4. Click Save, to complete editing the selected scheduled export instance.
