Using a Discover Endpoint with CRM Analytics

    CRM Analytics only supports the use of SQL endpoints. To use an SQL endpoint with CRM Analytics, perform the following:

    1. Open ​Analytics Studio​​.
    2. Click ​Create.
    3. Select ​Dataset​​ from the menu.
    4. Select ​External Data​​ from the modal.
    5. A new window opens. Select ​Create New Connection.
    6. On the Select Connector window, scroll down or search for ​Databricks Connector​​, select it, and click ​Next.
    7. Enter the following information and click ​Save and Test:
    • Connection Name:​​ Enter a name for the data connection.
    • Developer Name:​​ Enter the name of the user who is using or managing the data connection.
    • Description:​​ Provide a description for the data connection.
    • Token:​​ Enter the user's ​Authentication Token​​.
    • Server: ​​Enter the ​SQL Host​​.
    • HTTPPath:​ Enter the ​SQL Path​​.
    • Database:​ Enter the ​API Catalog​ and ​API Schema​​, separated by a period. Review the example image to ensure proper formatting.
    • Schema:​​ Enter the ​API Schema​​.

    1. Select the objects and fields to use with the new connection and click ​Save.
    2. The new connection is now saved and available from the ​Connections​​ menu.
    3. Select the new connection, click ​Object Options , and select ​Run Data Sync.
    4. The new connection is now synced and ready to use.
