Backup and Recovery for Salesforce: Identify, Download and Deploy Metadata Components with Our Application and Workbench

Please note that we allow you to restore/replicate all data from one org to another, but in regards to metadata, we do not support Full metadata restore/replication.

To clone data & metadata from one org to another:

1. Replicate the metadata components (attached is the "Metadata Restore using WorkBench and Our Application" guide).
2. Backup the destination org with the new metadata.
3. Replicate all the data using the Data Replicate tool.

Our application's Metadata Restore supports the following objects:

• Profiles
• Permission Sets
• Permission Set Groups
• Page Layouts
• Workflows
• Flows
• Reports
• Report Types
• Dashboards
• Apex Classes
• Assignment Rules
• Custom Labels
• Email Templates

We periodically add objects to the above list. For objects that we currently do not support, there is an alternative that is described in the attached guide.
